Memorial service scheduled for Virgil Cannon

A memorial service has been scheduled for Virgil Cannon Saturday, Dec. 9 at 3 p.m. Cannon died Thursday (Nov. 30). Cannon owned and operated Cannon’s Restaurant at 409 Trade Street. The restaurant remains closed. A tribute for Cannon is at the front door with flowers, candles and cards.
